• Prior to joining ITIC she was working as a paralegal at the marine department of Lester Aldridge LLP (LA Marine).
• Has a first-class master’s degree in International Shipping Law from the Queen Mary University of London. Her dissertation was on marine insurance fraudulent claims.
• Has a degree in Law from the University of Athens.

Special Experience

• Ioanna is responsible for members in the north west of England.
• Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA).
• Provided pro-bono legal advice to start-ups and entrepreneurs during her postgraduate studies.
• Awarded by the University of Athens for representing the Defendant in English and French during the oral phase of the European Law Moot Court (ELMC) 2018-2019.
• Participated in the 21^st Pan-Hellenic Parliament of Youth.
