The Wire: focus on Germany

Welcome to the latest edition of ITIC’s The Wire, focusing on Germany – a market where ITIC has long established relationships and deep roots within the shipping and, in particular, ship management community.

ITIC regularly contributes to BIMCO’s drafting committees, including the most recent update to SHIPMAN, and continues to offer market-leading guidance on the evolving challenges facing ship managers. This edition includes ITIC’s latest insight on the new FuelEU regulations and its impact on the sector.

ITIC is also pleased to introduce its new debt collection and MARPOL costs cover for ship managers. Alongside this, the edition features recent real-life claims that highlight the specialist support required to achieve successful outcomes in complex ship management disputes.
