ITIC sponsors FONASBA Young Ship Agent or Ship Broker Award

FONASBA has launched its newest education initiative, the Young Ship Agent or Ship Broker of the Year award. The competition is open to anyone aged 40 years or younger who is employed by a company member of a FONASBA national association or a Club or Associate member organisation. Those entering the competition will be required to present a paper on a subject related to ship agency, shipbroking or any other aspect of the maritime sector. The winner will be chosen from amongst those entries by a distinguished panel of senior FONASBA personnel.

The winner will receive a prize of €500, generously sponsored by ITIC. In addition, the winner will gain complimentary entry to one of the BIMCO eLearning modules. These modules cover a wide variety of subjects and the winner can choose which course to study.
