Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1700
Location: London

We are looking for a driven, energetic individual to take this role and make it their own, within a successful environment.

Overall Objective of Role: 

Claims Executives at ITIC are responsible for claims handling and management of debt collection files.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide efficient, cost effective claims handling services involving all of the insured services provided by ITIC.
• Ability to deliver specific and general advice appropriate to the business needs of those we insure.
• Ability to lead by example and to assist account executives with their claims handling.
• Provide claims data for re-insurers and others as required.
• Assist in the production of loss prevention and guidance materials.

Person Specification:

• 3 or more years working as a claims handler (marine, transportation or P&I Club);
• A legal degree is an advantage, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Strong analytical and organisational skills;
• Second language would be an advantage;
• Ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of seniority;
• Able to operate effectively within a team environment;
• A strong personal drive to succeed;
• Effective at working under pressure and balancing competing workload demands.
