A dedicated COVID-19 information and resources webpage has been created, to provide all members with advice on the topic. This page includes all of the circulars ITIC has released about Coronavirus and links to industry guidance. We would encourage you to share this webpage with your clients as well as your colleagues.

We have recently issued a circular to ship agents, advising on what to do if they cannot obtain the original bill of lading, during this extraordinary time of lockdown around the world. A circular was sent to shipbrokers, relating to ship valuations, and how they may wish to amend their wordings during this time.

An alert was also sent to all air charter brokers about ensuring that they contract on back to back terms and ship managers were warned about a Coronavirus invoice related fraud ITIC has been made aware of.
