We are pleased to welcome (from left to right) Alistair Mactavish, Damian Mustard, Gail Youd and Adam Jacobson as new account executives.
Alistair has joined the team from Steamship Mutual P&I Club where he was employed as a claims executive for ten years. His shipowner's P&I Club background may mean that he will be familiar to some of our correspondent Members, as well as shipping principals of ITIC Members who are ship agents and ship managers.
Damian is a lawyer from South Africa. Prior to joining ITIC he had worked for MacCallums Inc. in Cape Town in their litigation department. Damian is our resident sportsman, being an excellent tennis player and keen golfer.
Gail joined from Ballantyne, McKean & Sullivan Insurance Brokers Ltd., where she was a business development executive. Gail is the first and only member of staff who has successfully completed the London Marathon, which she ran in April this year.
Adam previously worked with Rayfield Mills, a firm of solicitors in Newcastle upon Tyne, as an assistant solicitor. He studied at the University of Northumbria where he attained a BA (Hons) degree in Modern languages with Business Studies. Adam speaks fluent French and Spanish.
